Many of the claims people made to you when you first got involved in network marketing are outright lies. They deceived you to get you to buy into the "dream".
Anything to make a buck right?
WRONG!
That is the reason why network marketing experienced such a backlash from people who got taken before and still continue to do so.
o You were probably told to go after your warm market first, right?
o You were told that you must get them on calls as soon as possible, right?
o You were told this is the fastest and most proven way to do it, right?
o You were told that is how they did it, and how they continue to do it to make the big bucks, right?
o You were "wowed" by the numbers, the exponential growth opportunities, and the success stories right?
So how is it that once you got started on your own, it NEVER happened like they promised?
They LIED to you.
Thats how.
It may sound harsh, but it is true.
There are a few reasons they may have done this:
o Money. They are driven by money and will do and say whatever it takes to make it.
o They didnt know any better! They took what they were taught by their upline and just regurgitated it back to you (which meant they never tested the system themselves).
o Similar to above, they had no clue that there are better, faster, easier (and much more ethical) ways of growing your business fast and recruiting the types of people you want to work with for years to come.
Whatever their reason was, it was wrong.
How do I know this?
Because I found a better way!
But first I tried it the same way you have. Friends, family, people walking their dogs, people in the bookstores, coffee shops and anywhere else there was a living, breathing person.
I drew them in with my fabulous lines.
I got them on the calls.
I got them to see the dream.
Then I brought them in and taught them to do the same.
Until I realized HOW PAINFUL this was!
It was not bringing me quality people (a few were most werent). It was difficult. It was over run with personal rejection. And it was downright difficult!
So I decided to seek out a better way outside of the industry.
I figured that sales and marketing is sales and marketing no matter what you are selling or who you are selling to.
And I started noticing a trend.
Those who were massively successful
in any industry had businesses that:
* Leveraged all possible resources
* Automated as much work as they can
* Combined technology with humanization to create a unique experience that couldnt be found with their competitors
* Targeted "perfect clients" and did not go after anyone with a checkbook or credit card
* Used their personalities to attract people they could work with for years to come
* Were VERY selective with who they work with
* Positioned themselves as the premier choice in a crowded industry
